That they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works.
There I was, living my life, doing the same things as everybody else, when suddenly I was disturbed, and stopped, and was made to THINK. God spoke to me and saved me through circumstance entirely outside of my control. Eyes On Eternity is a vision given to me after my conversion experience in February 2010. I was a churchgoer for many years yet, was I not saved but ignorantly thought that I was a Christian until the goodness of God arrested me, and led me to repentance toward God and faith toward Jesus Christ. Well, up until then, I thought I was a Christian because, I was also born into a "Christian" home where my parents took me to Church every Sunday and I prayed with them mornings and nights until I left home. My assumption was that church membership and attendance qualifies me to claim the name "Christian."
It took the power of God for me to see that I was religion and lost. It was an experience that made me exclaimed "I Thought I Knew Him" referring to Christ. Are there not many who are not saved but are church members today? Are there not many who think all is well with them because, they are members of a particular church? Are there not many who belong to one religion or the other and assume that all is well with them? Are there not many who hold unto one religious view or who hold unto one opinion or the other which are totally contrary to the sayings of Jesus Christ?
Of course, there are millions in such dangerous condition in our world today and my mission is to reach as many as possible with the gospel, and to compel them to repent and believe the gospel of Christ which is "the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" (Romans 1:16). If we have experienced the Gospel, it must indeed affect the whole of our being. Now, unto me who drank iniquity like water has Christ visited, and washed me from my sins and made me a new creature and tuned my heart to sing His praise and I now adore the name of Jesus Christ!
Now, if I can show somebody that he is travelling in the wrong direction toward Hell and point him to Jesus Christ, then my living shall not be in vain.
I made the call, and Christ changed my life! Now, I seek to know Christ and to make Him known - the Glory I have seen - the Presence I have felt. The God Who took on flesh - Whose kingdom overthrows all darkness and disease - the Light of the world. Now, I only live to worship and to breathe in His presence and release that to others. This joy that's washing over me. The hunger in my heart - the fire in my bones - is to see the nations come and glorify the Lord Jesus. To know how powerful and saving is His blood. To know how wonderful and redeeming is His love. O beloved, I only live to worship and to breathe His presence in as I release this joy that's washing over me. With every glimpse - my passion only grows - I am consumed - I must have more of Jesus - this beauty ravishing my soul. Oh, I must have more - Oh, I must have more - Oh, I must have more of Jesus. (To Know and Make Known - Is A Song by Jeremy Riddle)
O rejoice and praise ye the Lord O my soul for “the man that sat in darkness has seen great Light; the man who was religious and lost has been found by the Good Shepherd and Bishop of my soul. And to a man who sat in the region and shadow of death, Light is sprung up. And from that time, I having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believe, and therefore have I spoken; I also believe, and therefore speak. That I should no longer live the rest of my time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God” (taken from Matthew 4:16-17, 2 Corinthians 4:13 & 1 Peter 4:2). This is my testimony concerning what the LORD has done in me. Therefore, by His grace, it is my desire to see sinners be converted unto the LORD. To God be the glory!
You too can see the Light! Act now, repent and believe the Gospel.
We thank Christ Jesus our Lord for the salvation of a young man’s name whom we have chosen to call John here. I was about to start preaching on the street and John approached me and said these words; “I was an Atheist a week ago when I heard you preached the gospel, but after hearing God speak to me through you, I am now a Christian and I am now going to celebrate with my family.” We hugged each other and he left! Oh what a great testimony! Beloved, God is willing to save whomsoever. "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (1 Timothy 1:15). And we are all sinners in need of Christ.
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath redeemed me and made a sinner like me a new creature in Him.
If you humble yourself and submit to Christ, you can have your senses exercised to discern both good and evil through the Bible.
You too can experience the "the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" (Romans 1:16).
