All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53:6). Therefore, "ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto Me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto Me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you..." (Isaiah 55:1-3).
And Jesus said unto him, "Dost thou believe on the Son of God? And he said, Lord, I believe" (John 9:35-38). What about you? Does thou believe on the Son of God or are you looking for excuses that will lead you to Hell? Thou are without excuse!
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began (Titus 1:2). Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? (Romans 2:4).
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. "Dearly beloved, these things write we unto you, that if ye are convicted of sin," we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, evenour faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.....
Come to Christ as you are, He has already seen you and He won't turn you away.
It is written, ..."Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am He.
...and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21)...there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...(1 Timothy 1;15)...For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight... (Colossians 1:15-
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand (John 10:28). “In the sense the most approachable Person this world has ever seen was the Lord Jesus Christ” (Martyn Lloyd-Jones)
